North Star Farm is a 75-acre working organic blueberry farm in the western Catskills of New York.

This is not a hotel hidden in the countryside. It is a real farm.

Blueberries grow here. Sheep graze here. Guests wake up to birdsong, fresh air, and wide-open skies.

Each geodesic dome has been thoughtfully designed to provide a comfortable and memorable stay.

Every dome includes:

🛏️ Two queen beds with premium linens

🚿 Private full bathroom with shower

☕ Kitchenette stocked with everything you nee to prepare meals

❄️ Heat and air conditioning

🌲 Private deck with seating and a Blackstone griddle overlooking the farm

🔥 Private wood-fired hot tub

The domes are spaced apart to provide privacy while still allowing you to feel connected to the landscape around you.

North Star Farm is home to:

Because this is a working farm, you may see tractors, farmers, irrigation equipment, or livestock during your stay.

🫐 BLUEBERRY SEASON

From early July through early August, the farm comes alive with blueberry harvest.

🏡 Dome guests receive complimentary blueberry picking during their stay during blueberry season.

Wander the fields, fill a bucket, and enjoy berries straight from the bush.

There is something magical about eating breakfast from a blueberry field just steps from your dome.

🌸 Flower season brings colorful blooms and pollinator-filled fields throughout the summer.

🔥 HOT TUBS, SAUNA & WELLNESS

Every dome includes its own private wood-fired hot tub.

Guests also have access to our shared barrel sauna.

Many visitors make a ritual of ending the day with:

🐑 THE SHEEP

The sheep are among the most popular residents of North Star Farm.

Their official responsibilities include:

🌱 Mowing

🌱 Weeding

🌱 Fertilizing

🌱 General farm maintenance

The sheep, however, believe their primary responsibility is supervising guests.

You will often find them grazing peacefully throughout the property.

Please admire them from a respectful distance and avoid feeding them. Private sessions to feed and meet the sheep can be arranged.

🌅 EVENINGS AT THE FARM

Sunsets are one of the highlights of a stay at North Star Farm.

Guests often spend their evenings:

🚗 Is parking available?

Yes! Parking is free and located next to your dome.

🔥 Is firewood included?

Yes. Firewood for your hot tub and the communal fire pit is included with your stay.

🐕 Can I bring my dog?

We love animals, but to protect our sheep, wildlife, and farm operations, pets are not permitted on the property.

Absolutely. Families love exploring the farm, meeting the sheep, picking blueberries, and spending time outdoors.

The farm is beautiful in all weather. Pack layers and rain gear, and embrace the slower pace that rainy farm days often bring.
